Hiya!
I basically wanted to share what I am doing this summer and what I’ve done so far. SO that’s what today’s post is about. To start off, last week, it was like dying weather (not kidding). We have never experienced such heat around this area in BC, Canada, it was a record-breaking temperature of 41 degrees Celsius. I spent the entire day with a fan in my face, refilling on lemonade every 10 minutes. Literally, it was bad. This week is a lot better and I am in the mood to talk about my summer plans.
This week, the province officially kicked off the third phase, meaning less restriction and we are allowed to meet people indoors and outdoors. Usually, during the summer break, some of my friends come over and we hang out, but that won’t be possible until we all get our second vaccines. Anyway, I am pretty excited for this summer, still doing lots with family and a few friends. Most of my summers are pretty laid back, but this year it’s pretty busy, here are some things I’m doing this summer:

Camping
I’ve already gone camping twice this year and I’m going again in August. This time we’re going to Tofino. Tofino is a town located on Vancouver Island in Canada, filled with lakes, inlets, sandy beaches, an ancient rainforest and a very popular tourist destination.
Hiking
I love going hiking. It’s like technically every weekend we hike these days. Whenever we go hiking, there’s always some sort of view that makes me forget everything.
Swimming
One thing I love about summer is swimming in the ocean. I am not comfortable with the indoor swimming yet due to COVID, but there are many other places to swim.

Volleyball
Starting next week, I have volleyball classes, which I’m doing with a close friend. There isn’t really any reason I wanted to play volleyball, I guess I wanted something different this year.
Drama class
In August I’m starting drama classes at a local art centre with practicing artists and experienced art educators. Long waited for this class!
Vocals & Guitar
Furthermore, I’m continuing my vocal training again. I started online vocal classes in January, but I stopped for a couple of months after getting braces. I am also continuing with guitar practice.
Reading
Last year, I read about 300 books. I have a long list of books for this summer too. And I definitely will write another post on that.
That’s basically what I’m doing this summer. And I forgot to include I’ll try to post every week from now on, but it might be on and off because I want to relax too this summer as this is more than what I usually do.
Anyway, what are you doing this summer?
Interesting blog..awaiting for more write ups✍🏻👌🏻

Me too! Oh wow, I’ve never been to Tofino so that’s nice to know! I read a lot in my spare time last year, and I still try to read as much as possible!

I heard that the temperature has increased so much in some parts of Canada! 41 degrees!!! That must have been insufferable. I’m glad that the restrictions are easing up and that you have got so many plans for the summer. Happy Summer to you!
