My Top 10 Favourite Songs

What’s up people!

Today I’m going to be sharing my top 10 most favourite songs. I listen to music 24/7. My parents are always like, “You’re on your phone again?!” and I’m always like, “I’m changing my music!” So it’s legit, I listen to music 24/7. When I listen to music, I feel free in my own world, until my mom tells me to do other things I hadn’t done. Anyway, here are my top 10 favourite songs:

changes – XXXTentacion – XXXTentacion is one of my favourite rappers. This song was his last single release since he was killed on June 18, 2018. When I first heard this song, I really didn’t like it until I heard other songs by the rapper. I normally listen to this song when I’m sad, mad or even just not in the mood. It feels like a hug from a friend you haven’t seen in years or a smile from a loved one you’ve lost.

Gameboy – Jayden Bartels – This song just makes me happy. When I’m alone, I dance to it or sing-a-long (It’s embarrassing, which is why I do it alone). Jayden Bartels is one of my favourite actors, singers and YouTubers. I have been listening to her ever since quarantine started and I’ve been watching her since probably (Idk) like 2019 (something like that).

Brown Eyes – Keeley Elise – Why not? I have brown eyes. My friend had mentioned this song, so I started listening to it and it stuck. Btw, most songs are about blue or green eyes, so this one was a first forme. This is the only Keeley Elise song I’ve ever really listened to. I always plan on listening to another one of her songs, but I always forget.

lie to me – Tate McRae, Ali Gatie – I started listening to this song a day after it was released. It’s the first song I added to my playlist. Tate McRae and Ali Gatie are both Canadian singers (Note: Ali Gatie is also part Iraqi). I listen to Tate McRae a lot I’ve heard many of her latest releases. She is also known for being the first Canadian finalist on the American reality show – So You Think You Can Dance. I haven’t really listened to Ali Gatie. I’ve only listened to two of his other songs. So altogether, three.

Lighthouse – Bars and Melody – I first saw Bars and Melody (Bars: Leondre Devries, Melody: Charlie Lenehan) on Britain’s Got Talent. They were Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer. I’ve listened to so many of Bars and Melody’s songs. They sang, “Lighthouse“ in the Champions of America’s Got Talent. I’ve been listening to it ever since I saw their performance.

A Little Longer – Lauren Presley, Sam Will – I just like this song. There isn’t really any reason why. I just like listening to it. This is the only song I’ve heard from both artists.

Turn Back Time – Daniel Schulz – This song also makes me happy. It’s the only Daniel Schulz song I’ve heard, but I love it! It randomly popped up on my Spotify homepage and I started listening to it and now I love it!

Heaven – Kane Brown – Kane Brown is one of my favourite country singers. I love his songs (which is a miracle because I don’t really like country music). This song is my favourite song by him right now. It’s great!

Don’t Play – Anne Marie, KSI, Digital Farm Animals – I actually just started listening to this song, but it’ still in my top 10. I’ve listened to a lot of Anne Marie’s songs. I haven’t heard many songs from KSI or Digital Farm Animals. All I know is that KSI is a YouTuber and Digital Farm Animals is a DJ. Again, I just overall love this song.

Princesses Don’t Cry – CARYS – They don’t? When I saw the title of this song I was like, “This song is going to be Barbie related.” Of course, I was wrong. I love this song, its lyrics is very true. CARYS (Aviva Mongillo) said in an interview that she took stereotypes about women and made it into a song. She explained that stereotypes about women were that they’re overdramatic, soft and fragile. Not true! Once again, I love this song!

You probably haven’t heard most of them. These songs, I found during quarantine. I was constantly on Spotify (still am) and went through a ‘million’ playlists. Also, I think one or two of these songs aren’t clean (just a note). Music plays a big role in my life which is why I decided to write this post!

Do you know any of these songs? What are some of your favourite songs?
